Inspired by the Biblical narrative of Job, [mis]fortune follows the pain and joy of one man’s life and how he reconciles these emotions and events with an all-powerful and loving God. Stricken with cancer that could claim her life, Karen (Carolee McPherson) uses her struggle to inspire the best in her family. But faced with the prospect of his wife’s death, how will Eric (Glenn McGehee) respond?
